CHURCH CLEANING:
If anyone is interested in helping with church cleaning, please call Maureen Laverack on 0208 886 8098.  Four teams undertake the cleaning once a month on a Monday morning.  Three teams work from 10.30 am and one team from 8.30 am, for an hour or so of varied duties.  Your help would be much appreciated.

EXPLORER SCOUTS CAKE SALE:
There is a Cake Sale in the Hall this Sunday after all morning masses to help raise funds for the Southgate Explorer Scouts to visit Peru, where they will assist in building a Sustainable Greenhouse which will support the villagers of Viacha and allow them to grow their own food.

CARDINAL’S APPEAL 2016:
The Cardinal’s vision is the support and growth of three sectors: Evangelisation of Youth and Young Adults, Strengthening Marriage and Family Life and Fostering a more Civil Society through Service.  Please take a leaflet from the back of the church to find out more, and how to make a donation to the Appeal.  Thank you.

SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE:
Lavendar Hill and Strayfield Cemetery, Enfield, on Sunday 6th November at 3 pm, followed by blessing of individual graves.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:

Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday and the Holy Father invites all Catholics to contribute to a special collection for Missio, his official charity for overseas mission.  World Mission Sunday is a special day that unites Catholics all over the world in prayer, celebration and care for the mission of the Church.  By supporting World Mission Sunday you are directly helping Missionaries in Rwanda and around the world to help heal the broken-hearted.  You will be able to Gift Aid all donations by using the envelopes provided at the back of the Church – Thank you.

PLANNED GIVING SCHEME:
It would be a great help to the parish if you are able to make your offering each week through the Planned Giving envelope scheme or by standing order. If you are also able to ‘Gift Aid’ your donation, the parish would gain a further 25% of your donation in tax relief from HMRC, without any cost to yourself.
