SICK & RETIRED PRIESTS COLLECTION:
Today’s second collection is for the Sick & Retired Priest’s fund. This ensures our elderly & sick priests are financially supported in their senior years. The fund ensures that their housing, medical, convalescence and spiritual needs are met. Please be generous as most Priests retire with modest means. Please complete the Gift Aid form on the envelope if you pay income tax. Thank you.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION:
Please note that confessions usually take place in the confessional on Saturdays 10.30-11 am and 5.30-6 pm. For safeguarding and the discipline of the sacraments, the Diocese asks that wherever possible confessions are celebrated in this way rather than 'ad hoc'. If this is not possible, e.g. because of work, you can make a pre-arranged appointment with the priest. We ask that we all try to follow this pattern. Before Christmas, there will be further opportunities for confession, during a daytime service and at extended weekend confessions, so that everyone has an opportunity. More to follow.
