ASH WEDNESDAY:
Ashes will be distributed at Masses on Wednesday, 14th February, at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm.
FEBRUARY BAPTISM COURSE:
The second part of the Baptism course will take place on Monday 12th February at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall.
CONFIRMATION 2018:
Application forms are available for this year’s Confirmation Course. Candidates should be in year 9 or above. Please sign for, and take, a form today from the Paper Shop and return it on the Parents/candidates information and registration evening Tuesday 27th February at 7.30 pm.
PRAY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS:
Please join the parish Aid to the Church in Need Group to pray the rosary for persecuted Christians throughout the world every Sunday at 10.45 am in Our Lady's Chapel in front of the Blessed Sacrament. All are welcome.
SACRAMENT OF THE SICK:
Will take place on Saturday 24th February at 3 pm. If anyone would be able to help with the refreshments in the hall after the Mass please let the Parish office know – thank you.

If you have not yet collected your new rota, please do so as soon as you can. Please note that the group numbers have changed. If you would prefer to receive your rota by email, please let the Office know.

Today is the Feast of our Patron and the 9.45 am Mass will be in her honour.
LENT 2018:
Please take a leaflet from the back of the church to read about how we all may use the coming season of Lent to prepare ourselves for the celebrations of Holy Week and Easter.
HOLY LAND PARISH PILGRIMAGE:
There are still some places on the Pilgrimage (15th – 20th October) There are some forms in the paper shop or you can book via Tangney Tours on 01732 886666 if you would like to go.
CARDINAL’S MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY:
This takes place at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday, 19th May at 3 pm. The Cardinal will be inviting all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 5th 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2018. If this is you, please give the parish office the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email).
FAIR TRADE STALL:
Our Fair Trade stall is open in the Hall at the usual times this Sunday. You can order Fair Trade "Real" Chocolate Easter eggs today, for collection in March. The stall closes at 12.30 pm.
THE CARDINAL’S APPEAL:
There is a letter from Cardinal Vincent this weekend to announce this year’s Lenten Alms appeal. We will be holding our collection after all Masses next weekend, 17th/18th February.
