CONFIRMATION 2018:
Our Confirmation course began yesterday when the candidates attended their Mass of Enrolment. Their next meeting on Saturday at 4.50 pm. Please keep them in your prayers.
MARCH BAPTISM COURSE:
The next course begins tomorrow, Monday 5th March, when you are invited to come to the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm to complete an application form.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Parents are reminded of their meeting on Tuesday at 8 pm, followed by the children’s session on Saturday at 10 am and Mass for the whole family at 11.15 am on Sunday morning.
PRAY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS:
Pray the Rosary for persecuted Christians throughout the world every Sunday at 10.45 am in Our Lady's Chapel.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY:
We are looking for volunteers to assist with Children’s Liturgy that takes place during the 11.15 am Mass on term time Sundays. Please call the Office for details.
RELAXED MASS:
Everyone is welcome to this joyful celebration at 3 pm on Saturday 10th March at Christ the King Church (Vita et Pax), 29 Bramley Road, London N14 4HE. This Mass is for people of all ages who are not able to be quiet or still during Mass, and for those who want to worship with them. Refreshments in the hall afterwards.
HOLY LAND PARISH PILGRIMAGE:
There are still some places on the Pilgrimage (15th – 20th October) at a cost of £1,377 (plus optional extras). There are some forms in the paper shop or you can book via Tangney Tours on 01732 886666 if you would like to go.
FAIR TRADE AT EVERY MASS:
Next week's Fair Trade stall is open after all Masses. We'll take orders for Easter Eggs which tell the real Easter story for collection after every Palm Sunday Mass.
LONDON MARATHON 2018:
Fr David writes: On 22nd April I am running the London marathon for Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster). This week, Kimberley Tough will speak at the Sunday morning Masses about their work and we will take a collection to help my fundraising. CAFOD COLLECTION:
Thank you for your kind donations, last weekend, of £1,647, which the Government will double.
YOUNG ADULTS SUNDAY MEETING:
The next meeting takes place next Sunday, 11th March at 7.15 pm.
CARDINAL’S MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY:
At Westminster Cathedral on Saturday, 19th May. The Cardinal will invite all couples in the Diocese who are celebrating their 5th 10th, 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th and 60th (and every year over 60) wedding anniversary of Catholic marriage in 2018. If this is you, please give the parish office the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or telephone number, if no email).
MASS FOR BEREAVED PARENTS:
Takes place on Saturday 10th March at 2.30 pm at Westminster Cathedral.
JACK CURLEY RIP:
The Requiem Mass is on Monday 12th March at 10 am. May he rest in peace.
