WORLD PORRIDGE DAY:
On Sunday 28th October we will be supporting the Mary’s Meals World Porridge Day appeal.
Why porridge? In Malawi, Liberia and Zambia, the children receive vitamin-enriched maize porridge every school day. World Porridge Day celebrates the huge difference this daily mug of porridge makes to the lives of chronically hungry children.
£2 provides a hungry child with meals in school for a month. You can pick up a portion of porridge oats in the parish centre after Mass and make a donation to Mary’s Meals.
