AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED (ACN) - RED WEDNESDAY:
This annual event takes place on Wednesday 28th November to raise awareness of Christians persecuted for their faith.
MENCAP:
A big thank you for your generosity last weekend at the sale. An amazing £455 was raised. Raffle winners are displayed on the board outside the Church.

‘FLOWER POWER’ MONDAY GROUP’:
For vulnerable adults will be holding its first sale next Sunday after all Masses in the Parish Hall. Unique original dry flower pieces for sale. All proceeds go towards delveloping & keeping the group alive.
Fr David writes: I am very pleased to announce that Maggie Nagle has very kindly agreed to serve as our new Parish Safeguarding Rep (PSR) and thank her for her generosity in accepting the role. She has completed the safe recruitment process and is now appointed. I would also like to thank Nicky Madigan who has worked on this for a long time and now steps down. The PSR is there to assist us all in providing and promoting a safe environment for everyone in our community.

PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES:
New envelopes available (in the Small Hall) for four months only as we will be moving our start date to April from next year. If you offer Gift Aid you will find a letter in your box asking you to confirm/ update your details for the Tax Office.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS ELF:
Fr David writes: We are looking for 100 generous Christmas elves who would be kind enough to buy a gift for a child with a parent in prison this Christmas. If you would like to help, please contact the Parish Office after Tuesday when we will give you the details of one child. You can then buy the gift (not more than £15) and bring it back before 2nd December. Please do not wrap the gifts. This is a special way for our families to help other families this Christmas!
FOUR SEASONS DRAW:
The Four Seasons Draw will be relaunched with a Grand Draw in December to cover 2018 and then regular draws from the first quarter of 2019. If you are a member, and would like to continue, please send in anything owing for 2018 (£1/month) before Friday 15th December. New members forms available in the paper shop.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL FAYRE RAFFLE TICKETS:
Today after the 8.30am, 9.45am & 11.15am Masses raffle tickets will be on sale for the Christmas Raffle at the School. Prizes include West End Show tickets, Luxury hamper, boxes of wine, cinema tickets and much more. 100% of proceeds will buy resources for the children. The Fayre will be on Saturday 1st December 12 -3 pm.
