CAN YOU HELP IN OUR PARISH?
We are currently seeking volunteers for a number of our activities. Please contact the Parish Office or speak to one of the priests if you could help with any of the following roles which are mostly on a rota and don’t need much instruction: cleaning the church on Monday mornings, serving tea/coffee on Sunday mornings, manning the Paper Shop on Sundays. We would also like to recruit some people for liturgical ministries which do require some formation and work with the priests before you can begin - please also speak to one of the parish team. Thank you.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
Stations will take place each Friday during Lent (except 22nd), after the
10 am Mass and will be led by a priest.  The faithful are always welcome to pray the Way of the Cross individually or privately in the church at other times.

FR THOMAS PARAYADYIL:
Many of you will know Fr Thomas, who has lived and worked here with us for the last 11 years.  Fr Thomas is the Syro-Malabar Chaplain and often celebrates the 8 am and 10 am Masses here.  At the end of March he will return to India. We will be having a collection for Fr Thomas this weekend, and a special Mass to say thank you and goodbye on Friday 22nd March at 10 am followed by the presentation with refreshments in the Parish Hall.  Fr David.

FAIR TRADE FORTNIGHT:
To mark the start of Fair Trade Fortnight this weekend you may buy or order "Real" Easter eggs (celebrating Easter not bunnies) after all Masses.

HOMELESS ACTION IN BARNET:
We have been awarded a certificate to thank us for our past donations at Advent and Lent (displayed in the Porch).  This Lent we are asking for food, tins and toiletries (no clothing, hats, socks etc). Thank you.

CAFOD FAMILY FAST DAY:
Friday 15th March.
Family Fast Day this Lent is a chance to support our brothers and sisters around the world. Drought, floods and storms have a devastating impact on our global family.  Like Mahinur from Bangladesh whose living from fishing was destroyed last year by drought.  On Friday can you eat a simple meal in solidarity and give what you save to help people like Mahinur?
Please collect your Fast Day envelope this weekend and give what you can, completing the Gift Aid form if possible.
