FR DAVID WRITES
Today we welcome back Fr Mark who will help celebrate some of the Masses. Fr Mark has just returned from the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes where he served as chaplain to the young people. Deacon David has gone on his break and will return at weekends in September. I will begin my summer holidays this week. Fr Andrew will be in charge of the parish and he will be helped for the month by Fr Michael Quaicoe. Fr Michael was until recently an assistant priest at Westminster Cathedral and is now mostly based in Rome where he is completing his doctorate in Canon Law. I am grateful to him for his help and I know we will all make him feel most welcome. Finally, many thanks for your generosity last weekend in giving so generously towards Mary's Meals. I pray that you may all have a blessed and safe summer.
CAR PARK
Thank you to those who have given feedback regarding the car park and especially the 8 am Mass. Fr. David will relay all the feedback to the Finance Committee in September.
MARY’S MEALS
A very big ‘thank you’ from Mary’s Meals for its Rags to Riches collection last Sunday. We are delighted to say that the parish managed to give 830 kg of unwanted clothes; there were also cash donations of £1,518.36 making a total contribution of £1,983.16.
This is an excellent result! The amount raised will feed 142 children who will not only get fed one good, nutritious meal every school day for a whole year, but they will get an education too.

JOIN OUR BROWNIE PACK
Here at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish we are lucky to have a vibrant, thriving Brownie Pack meeting every Thursday (term-time only) in the Parish Hall , 6—7.30 pm, run by Leader Karen Landi, Assistant Leader Frances Kantorowicz and Unit Helper Sarah Hunt.
Brownies is about trying new things that teach girls aged seven to ten about themselves, their community and their world. Brownies introduces girls to a world of new opportunities, challenges and fun. Girls go along to camps, holidays, day trips and sleepovers. They get together with their friends at regular meetings where they learn new hobbies, get creative, explore other cultures and have outdoor adventures. As well as trying activities in their meetings, girls choose from interest badges related to things they want to know more about. We have spaces to invite new girls to join the pack. If you would like to register for girls to join please follow the link below.
