FR DAVID WRITES
We now know that many restrictions are coming to an end on July 19th. We are awaiting some further guidance from the diocese about what this will mean for life in the parish. As it is almost the start of the summer holidays, and to avoid confusion when many people will be coming and going, it seems sensible to hold off beginning the new schedule here until September. In terms of the liturgy, we will also wait for September for the return of church music at Masses, when we will also create new rotas for readers, Eucharistic Ministers, counters etc. We will let you know what other restrictions and procedures can be lifted at church as soon as we hear. Thank for your patience and cooperation throughout this time.

After having been here for a long time, Fr Andrew and I are looking forward to taking some time away to recharge. Fr Andrew will begin his break this week, and I will be away from next weekend, so we will be leaving Fr Johnson in charge with help from Fr Samuel. We really appreciate their help. We will be back at the start of August. We also wish a happy holiday or break to everyone else who is able to get away!

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL MASS
On Thursday we will celebrate the Year 6 Leavers' Mass in church. We send them all with our best wishes and prayers, and wish everyone involved in our schools a very happy summer break when it begins.

READERS
Some of our readers at Mass have either moved away or stepped down. We are looking to recruit some new readers for this important ministry of proclaiming God's Word in church. If you are interested in this role, please speak to Fr David this weekend or when he is back. A little training will be provided in due course.

Please note that the Office will be closed on Wednesday 14th July.
