FR DAVID WRITES
It has been lovely these past few weeks to see many people and activities returning to the parish after such a long and difficult time. Today, we are pleased to have church music back at the 10am and 11.15am Masses. Thank you to readers, singers, musicians, church cleaners and many others who are beginning their roles and ministries once again in the parish this week. We are all very grateful. Last week, many young people returned to school and studies, and this week the Confirmation programme will begin. Please pray for all the people of the parish as we move into a new term and phase of new life! Please also pray for the seminarians of our diocese as I meet together with them and the Cardinal on Thursday at Allen Hall Seminary. Please continue to pray for vocations. God bless you all.

LONDON EUCHARISTIC OCTAVE
Four central London parishes (Farm Street, Maiden Lane, Spanish Place and Warwick Street) have come together, with the Ukrainian Cathedral and the Order of Malta, to host nine days of celebrations centred around the Blessed Sacrament. The London Eucharistic Octave will take place from 11th to 19th September. The event is an opportunity for Catholics to support the International Eucharistic Congress taking place in Budapest, Hungary, this September.
The octave will begin with a Votive Mass of the Blessed Sacrament celebrated by Cardinal Vincent at noon on Saturday 11th September at Corpus Christi Church, Maiden Lane. Each evening during this week of prayer and adoration, Holy Mass in a different form will be celebrated at 6.30pm at Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane. On Sunday 19th September, a Eucharistic procession through Soho, Mayfair and Marylebone will commence at 3.30pm starting at Our Lady of the Assumption, Warwick Street, and ending with Benediction at St James’s, Spanish Place. The procession will be led jointly by the Bishop Kenneth Nowakowski, Eparch of the Ukrainian Eparchy and by Monsignor Keith Newton.
