SECONDARY SCHOOL TRANSFER
If your child is due to start at secondary school next September, the schools will be holding open days/evenings in the next couple of weeks. Please keep an eye on their websites for details of dates and times.

Fr David will be available to sign school forms on Saturday 16th October from 5pm to 6.30pm. There is no need to sign up, but please do come at this time with all your forms ready to be signed. Most Catholic schools will not need a CCP, but some may still be using it so please check the information on the schools’ websites carefully. He will also be able to sign for other schools which require a priest’s reference.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2021/22 REGISTRATION
Registration is now completed and closed. The Parents’ Meeting will take place on Tuesday 30th November at 8pm in the parish hall.

RCIA—JOUNREY IN FAITH INTO THE CATHOLIC CHURCH
If you are interested or know anyone who is interested in becoming a Catholic and are over the age of 18 please contact the Parish Office.

CONFIRMATION
The next  session is next Saturday 25th September at 4.50pm, followed by Mass at 6pm.

ALTERATIONS IN SCHEDULE
Monday—Friday    Masses 8 am & 10am (car park will not open till 9.15am)
        on Fridays there will be exposition after the 10am Mass

Saturdays    1pm Baptisms, 3pm Confessions, 4pm Vigil Mass, 6pm Vigil Mass

Sundays        Masses: 8.45am, 10am (Solemn), 11.15am (Family), 12.30pm.

You should not come to church if you have any symptoms, or if you have been told to self-isolate. Please continue to use the QR code to sign in on your smartphone. You are encouraged to wear a face covering. The capacity of the church has increased to normal levels, but please be respectful of those who may want to keep a distance. Thank you.

MASS COUNT
For the next few weeks we will be counting the Mass attendance for the statistics which go to the diocese and the Holy See.

MASS INTENTIONS
With the return of the 8am Mass (Mon-Fri) we now have spaces for your intentions. Please contact the office if you would like to book an 8 Mass before Christmas.

CAR PARK
As Masses are getting busier, a reminder about the car park. It is not allowed to double park until all the spaces are filled. Pedestrians should proceed with caution in the car park, especially before and after Mass.

ADVANCE NOTICE: CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY
The forthcoming CAFOD Harvest Fast Day will take place on Friday 1st October. We will take up the second collection here after the fast day, on the weekend of 2nd/3rd October.

LONDON EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION
The procession will take place today (Sunday 19th September) beginning at 3.30pm at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Warwick Street in Soho, ending at St James’s Church, Spanish Place, with Benediction. All are welcome.

SHELTERED HOUSING OPEN DAY
St Scholastica’s Retreat is an almshouse in Buckinghamshire offering sheltered housing to Catholics aged 60 or over in 36 self-contained flats at £562pcm. PILGRIMAGE FOR THE SANCTITY OF LIFE
On Saturday 23rd October, there will be a pilgrimage to Walsingham with the theme, ‘The courage to proclaim the Gospel of Life on post-pandemic Britain’. The main programme commences with midday Mass in the Chapel of Reconciliation, celebrated by Bishop Mark Davies. Details of the remainder of the programme can be found at http://www.prolifepilgrimage.org  For those who are unable to attend, the Shrine livestream will carry the main events of the day.
