FR DAVID WRITES
Welcome to Bishop Sherrington who joins us at all Masses this weekend. It is lovely to have the Bishop with us just before the great feast of Christmas and near the start of our parish centenary. Please make sure you make a careful note of the Mass times during the festive period. I send you every good wish and blessing for this fourth week of Advent and we look forward to seeing you all again at Christmas.

ALTAR SERVERS
Our annual altar servers’ Mass takes place on Boxing Day at 12 noon—St Stephen’s Day, the patron saint of altar servers. ALL servers are invited to join us for the Boxing Day Mass.
CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES
Christmas Eve: Family Vigil Mass 6pm; Mass in the Holy Night 11pm
(carols before both).
Christmas Day: Masses 8.45am; 10am; 11.15am; 12.30pm.
Boxing Day: Mass 12 noon.
Tues-Fri of Christmas week: Mass 10am.
New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day: Weekend Masses as normal.
CONFESSIONS
Saturdays: 3pm (including Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve)
There will be extra Confessions on Friday 23 December after 10am Mass.
CONGRATULATIONS
We send our congratulations and prayers to Niamh Davey and Luiz Costa who were married here during a Nuptial Mass on Friday afternoon.
CHRISTMAS COLLECTION
Please remember that the Christmas collection is very important for the parish. If you are going to be away next weekend, please do think about leaving your offering before you. There are Christmas collection envelopes available in the church porch.
CRIB COLLECTION - CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S SOCIETY (WESTMINSTER)
The offerings from the crib will go to the Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster, who offers help to families in our Diocese facing hardship at this time. Your support is, as always, gratefully received.
The CCS (W) have also written to us to say a big thank you for all the gifts we delivered for their Christmas gift appeal. Thank you all!

PRIMARY SCHOOL APPLICATION FORMS
Fr David will be available to sign all application forms for primary schools on Saturday 7 January at 5pm in the parish centre. No need to sign up beforehand.
HILARY CARRASCO RIP
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 20th December at 10am. May he rest in peace.
