FR DAVID WRITES
Thank you for your generosity towards Peter’s Pence last weekend. Today there will be retiring collection after all Masses for the Apostleship of the Sea. Please note that the First Holy Communion registration is open. Parents of children should sign up if the child will be in Y3 in September and they are part of this parish. Please note that we will not be able to accept late applications. Please continue to pray for Fr Jerome and Fr Andrew O’Connell as they prepare to begin their new appointments later this summer. Have a great week!
APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA
There will be a collection for AoS this weekend, July 9th, after all Masses. Seafarers play a vital role in all our lives, but they often work in difficult conditions. Many are denied the right to leave their ships even for a short break, and many are reporting increased stress and poor mental health. You can also donate by visiting: www.stellamaris.org.uk/donate or by texting “SEA” TO 70460 to donate £5. There are also some envelopes at the back of the church if you would like to gift aid your donation. Thank you.
SALVATORE SACCACCIO RIP

As part of our centenary celebrations, there will be a Parish Barbecue in the courtyard on the evening of this Friday, 14 July. This promises to be a lovely summer celebration, with food and a bar. Tickets are also available from the Parish Office.

WORLD YOUTH DAY - LISBON 2023
As many of you know, this summer the World Youth Day will take place in Lisbon, Portugal. Pope Francis will meet with many hundreds of thousands of young Catholics. Please pray for the Pope and all the young people who will attend. This week it was announced that the Pope will now also visit the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima during the visit too, to pray especially for peace in Ukraine, Europe and throughout the world.
