FR DAVID WRITES
Congratulations to Fr Jerome who was canonically installed as Parish Priest of St John Vianney, West Green, on Friday evening. Thank you to those who came to support him. Please make sure you take a card detailing the Christmas Mass times. Thank you to all those who supported the Joint Carol Service at St Paul’s Church last weekend, and especially our readers and singers. Finally, we send best wishes to all who begin their Christmas holidays this week. God bless you all.

MASSES NEXT WEEKEND
Please remember that next weekend is a bit different. The Saturday schedule is normal, and on Sunday there is no 11.15 or 12.30 Masses - they are replaced by the evening Masses for Christmas Eve (6pm and 11pm). Please remember that Christmas Day, like Sunday, is a day of precept and a holy day of obligation. We look forward to seeing many of you next weekend.

 CONFESSIONS
This week there will be confessions after 10am Mass on Thursday and Friday mornings, beginning at about 10.30am. There will also be confessions on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                ADVENT EXPOSITION
Today (Sunday) there will be Eucharistic Adoration after the 12.30pm Mass till 3pm - an opportunity for some peace and prayer with the Lord before Christmas.

CHRISTMAS COLLECTION
Please remember that, like Easter, the Christmas collection is very important for the life of the parish. We know you are always very generous and send thanks in advance. If you will be away at Christmas, you are kindly invited to leave your Christmas offering before you go. There are extra envelopes available in the church porch for offerings. The Dona card reader is hopefully working again too!

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
If you are an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and are able to help at one of the Christmas Masses, please sign the list in the church porch. Thank you.

ALTAR SERVERS
All altar servers are invited to serve at Christmas. A reminder that St Stephen’s Day (Boxing Day) is the annual feast day for servers - all servers are invited to join us at Mass on that day which begins at 12 noon.

RACHEL CARROLL RIP
The funeral will take place on Monday 18th December at 10am.

OLOL JUNIORS’ CAROL SERVICE
The junior school carol service will take place this Tuesday evening here in church at 5.30pm. We look forward to seeing parents, grandparents, friends and parishioners.

GIFTS FOR THE CATHOLIC CHILDREN’S SOCIETY
Fr David and everyone at the CCS send warmest thanks and best wishes to all those who brought gifts for children. Fr David took the gifts to Ladbroke Grove this week, and they are now being distributed to those families in need. May God bless you all!

FOOD BANK
A word of thanks to everyone for continuing to kindly support the food bank either by bringing donations or volunteering each Wednesday. May God bless you all.

THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS PRESENT
Please help support the Christmas Appeal of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions, who live in the parish. You can do this by giving virtual gifts that will make a difference to many poor people overseas. There are four gifts; for each one you buy, you will receive a card that you can give as a Christmas present. You will find the gift catalogue at the church porch. Thank you.

FAIRTRADE
This weekend will be the last weekend this year to visit the stall after all Masses.
