FEAST OF OUR LADY OF LOURDES
This year, our Patronal Feast in honour of Our Lady of Lourdes on 11th February falls next Sunday. That day, the 9.45am Mass will be the Mass of the Feast; other Masses next weekend will be Mass of the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. However, the full Primary School will join us in church this Friday morning for a children’s celebration of Our Lady of Lourdes, to which everyone is also welcome.
BAPTISM SIGN-UP
The next Baptism sign-up will take place on Monday 5th February at 6.30pm.
ASH WEDNESDAY (14 FEBRUARY)
Ash Wednesday will be on Wednesday 14th February (also Valentine's Day!). Masses here, with the distribution of ashes, will be at 8 am, 10 am, and 7 pm (NOT 7.30). Please note that ashes will not be given outside of Mass. Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting and abstinence.
PLANNED GIVING ENVELOPES
The new envelopes will be distributed in April. If you do not require your planned giving envelopes anymore or have a change in circumstances, e.g. you have moved house, or are no longer paying tax, please let the Parish Office know. If you would like to join the planned giving scheme please collect an application form from the church porch. You can use these forms to set up a Standing Order or join the Gift Aid scheme. Standing Order is the best way to give to the parish as it reduces cash handling on the premises. Thank you to everyone for your continuing generosity.

FAIR TRADE EASTER EGGS
The Real Easter Fair Trade chocolate eggs are on the stall after all the main masses on Saturday 17th and Sunday, 18th.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION
Parents are reminded of their next meeting on Tuesday 6th February at 7.30pm. Children meet on Saturday 10th at 10am and the family Mass on Sunday at 11.15am.

FOODBANK: THANK YOU & REQUEST FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS
The Foodbank is open to guests every Wednesday afternoon, 2.30 - 4pm, in St Paul's Hall, a short distance from Our Lady of Lourdes. If you would like to join the Foodbank team to help on a Wednesday afternoon for a couple of hours, we would love to hear from you. The foodbank works as a friendly and helpful team. We would like our volunteers to help a couple of Wednesdays a month—hours are 1.45pm to 4.15 pm for volunteers. We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to everyone in Our Lady of Lourdes, both church and school, for all your generous and continued support of the Foodbank! Thanks so much for your continued donations of non-perishable foods and hygiene items.
