FR DAVID WRITES
Today is Mothering Sunday. We hope all our mums and families have a lovely day. Let us remember to pray for all the mothers who have gone to God. In the liturgy, today is Laetare Sunday - the Fourth in Lent. Today we are reminded of the joyful destination of our journey that leads towards Easter. Next Sunday, the Fifth Sunday of Lent, is the beginning of Passiontide. This week Lemmy has her first birthday! However, she was 8 weeks old when she came to live in the presbytery and take her up new appointments as ‘chief evangeliser’ and ‘centre of attention’. She says she loves her life in the parish and says hello to you all. Thank you to all who have helped me by looking after her during Mass and other times too! God bless.

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED
Next weekend we have an appeal from Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) which is a Pontifical Foundation. One of its missions is to support persecuted Christians. ACN supports more than 5,000 projects internationally. ACN provides emergency aid for Christians who lost their livelihoods because of the war in Gaza. The new aid package includes life-saving medicine, food coupons, help with tuition fees and housing costs. There will be a retiring collection after all Masses. If you wish to get involved in the charity, or if you wish to be an ACN volunteer, please contact John Ravi on 07932973650, This email address is being protected from spambots.
