Happy Easter! Today is the greatest of all solemnities: the Resurrection of the Lord from the dead. The Lenten journey is now concluded, and we have lived the days of Passiontide and Holy Week with real faith and devotion. We send you all every good wish for the days of Easter and hope you all have a good Easter holiday. Many thanks go to all our parishioners and volunteers who have helped with, prepared, led or participated in our great celebrations and in preparing the church - thank you all! Christ is Risen. Alleluia!
RCIA CONGRATULATIONS
Welcome and congratulations to Joseph, Elise, Vajira, Paul and Jacob who received the Sacraments of Christian Initiation at the Easter Vigil. Thank you to the sponsors, catechists, families, and to Fr Andrew and Teresa Buffery. Please keep them in your prayers.
MASS TIMES
This week is the Octave of Easter (also known as Easter Week), and next Sunday is the Octave Day. Please note there will be one Mass weekday at 10am here this week (Monday-Friday). Mass times as normal next weekend.
PARISH OFFICE
The Parish Office will be open Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday this week. Closed on Bank Holiday (Easter) Monday and on Friday.
COLLECTIONS
The Easter Collection takes place this weekend. Thanks for your generosity to ‘Aid to the Church in Need’ (£1,982) and for the Holy Places collection which was taken on Good Friday.

New envelopes are available at the back of church for collection today. Please note that envelopes are in number order—please take yours today.
FIRST COMMUNION
The next parent’s meeting will take place on Tuesday 16 April at 7.30pm.
Children's session will be on Saturday 20 April at 10am—12.30pm which includes the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Family Mass will be on Sunday 21 at 11.15am.
CONFIRMATION
Candidates are reminded of their meeting on Saturday 20 April at 4.15pm.
ANNUAL MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY
Westminster Cathedral Saturday 25 May 2024 at 2.30 pm. The Cardinal is inviting, to this Mass, all couples in the Diocese, who are celebrating significant wedding anniversaries of Catholic marriage in 2024. If this is you, and you would like to attend, please email the Parish Office with the following details: husband and wife’s names, wedding date, full postal address and email (or number, if no email).
BERNADETTE CLUB
Easter greetings to all our members - old and new. Our April meeting will take place at 2pm this Thursday 4 April in the parish centre and we look forward to seeing you. We will have tickets available for our coach trip to St Albans Thursday 2 May leaving here at 10.30am (£10). There will be no meeting in May as the parish centre will not be available.
CHURCH TOILET - OUT OF USE
Please use the toilets in the Parish Centre until the church toilet has been fixed (this won’t be until after Easter). Thank you.
