SPECIAL SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE - SATURDAY 19 OCTOBER
The parish would like to invite families who have lost of child or children (of any age) to a Remembrance Service on Saturday 19 October at 12 noon. The service will be composed of readings and musical reflections. Our gathering is an opportunity to honour the memories of our beloved children, share in a space of comfort and healing, and connect with others who understand the profound journey of loss. Please feel free to bring a photo or special object to place on the altar during the service. There will be light refreshments in the hall afterwards. All welcome.

FOODBANK
Next weekend there will be a second collection for our foodbank - a joint enterprise with St Paul’s Parish. Every Wednesday afternoon we provide a walk-in foodbank service in St Paul’s Hall to anyone in need. The foodbank could not run without the support of our generous parishioners, but we also need extra funds to ensure we are able to offer sufficient food, laundry and toiletry items to an average of 45 guests each week. We would also welcome new volunteers on Wednesday afternoons. For more information please contact our co-ordinator Gerry on 07982 463307. Thank you for your support.
JO McNAMEE RIP
The former headteacher of St Angela’s (St Anne’s) sadly passed away in Scotland on 4th October. There will be a memorial Mass at a later date at St Monica’s.
