Today is the solemnity of the apostles Peter and Paul, the patrons of the City and the Church of Rome. Today we give thanks for their life and witness. We also give thanks for the election of the new Bishop of Rome, Pope Leo XIV, the successor of Peter. Congratulations to Sheila Clerkin and Daniel Clancy who were married here on Saturday afternoon. Today is Fr Tom’s first anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood, which took place last year on 29th June. Please keep him in your prayers on this special day.
EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS - THANK YOU
Many thanks to the whole parish for supporting our Parish Eucharistic Congress last week. These were beautiful days marked by prayer, devotion and celebration. Thank you also to Mary, Joe and the team for organising our special barbecue on Friday evening - it was a lovely way to celebrate together.
SUMMER CONCERT
Unfortunately, our summer concert was not able to go ahead because of illness, with apologies from the Friern Ensemble and ourselves. Thank you to those who came anyway - we had a short time of prayer followed by the reception! Fr David would like to thank those who kindly provided the prosecco and the cakes.
ORDINATIONS
Congratulations to Fr Sean Power and Fr James Boyle who were ordained to the priesthood yesterday (Saturday) in Westminster Cathedral.
PETER’S PENCE
Peter’s Pence is a concrete way to support the Holy Father in his mission of service to the Universal Church. It is a gesture of communion and participation in the Pope’s mission to proclaim the Gospel, to promote peace, and spread Christian charity. Collection at all Masses this weekend. WESTMINSTER WAY - WALKING PILGRIMAGE
Fr Tom will be leading a walking pilgrimage on the Westminster Way on Saturday 5th July. The pilgrimage is a special Jubilee journey through London, visiting shrines and churches in our own city. We will leave the parish car park at 9.30am. Please sign up on the form in the porch, or ask Fr Tom for more details.

OUR LADY OF WILLESDEN - JUBILEE YEAR EVENT
Cardinal Vincent will visit Our Lady of Willesden on Saturday, 5th July to make his Jubilee Visit and give a Catechesis at 12.15pm. This will be followed by Mass at 1pm, Blessing Marian Garden and a Picnic Lunch. All welcome—bring your own picnic.
