FR DAVID WRITES
Next weekend we will celebrate the solemnity of All Saints, which is traditionally kept on 1 November. In England and Wales, if a holy day falls on a Saturday it is moved to the Sunday. This means that all Masses next weekend - the vigils and the Sunday Masses - will be for All Saints. All Souls’ Day will be celebrated on Monday 3 Nov. Our special Parish Requiem Mass will be on Monday 3 November at 7pm (there will also be 10am Mass that day). This week we witnessed the historic state visit by the King and Queen to the Holy See, where they were received by Pope Leo. Let us keep the new Pope in our prayers in his work of service to Christian unity.
HOLY SOULS: BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
Please make sure that all lists of the faithful departed are returned to us by next weekend so that we can compile our Book of Remembrance for November.

On Tuesday, Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Nicholas Hudson as Bishop of Plymouth. Bishop Hudson has served as an Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster since 2014. We thank him for his many years of service here, and pray for him as he begins this new time of service in the Church.
