FR TOM WRITES
On Good Shepherd Sunday, we hear Christ call each of us by name. All vocations, whether it be marriage, priesthood, or religious life, are a response to His voice, a unique path to love and holiness. The priesthood, in a special way, reflects Christ the Good Shepherd, who guides His people through Word and Sacrament. All vocations share the same beauty: a life given in love, for God and for others, but this weekend let us pray for our priests, and for all those Lord is calling to the priesthood.

HOLY HOUR FOR VOCATIONS
As per Archbishop Moth’s request for the whole diocese to pray for young men with a call to the priesthood, we will gather after 10 am Mass for the next four Friday’s to pray in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Please take a leaflet from the back of church and join us in praying for this important intention.

PRIEST TRAINING FUND
Today, on Good Shepherd Sunday, there is a second collection for the Priest Training Fund. The fund supports the formation of men who are responding to God’s call to serve as priests in our diocese which involves years of preparation equipping them to serve parish communities. Your support helps make this foundation possible. If you are able please give generously in today’s collection.  Envelopes are available at the back of the Church and you can also donate via rcdow.org.uk/PriestTrainingFund
