CHURCH WATER BILLS:
The Water Companies are ignoring churches’ charitable status and starting to charge them for the amount of area (eg. roof/car park) which collects rainwater and discharges it into the sewer network. This will effectively raise our bills by hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds. There is an online government petition that you are kindly asked to register on at “petitions.pm.gov.uk/Church-WaterBills”, if you would like to help us object to this action. Thank you.
