SECONDARY SCHOOL TRANSFER SIGNINGS:
The Priests will be available to sign transfer to secondary school forms on Monday 20th October 6.30pm – 8pm or Tuesday 21st October 6.30pm – 7.30pm. Please sign up today for an appointment on the lists in the Parish Centre. Priest’s self assessment forms should have already been handed in. Please do not bring it with you on the evening.
APF – WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
Today we join other Catholic communities in a global effort to bring spiritual and material help to those who work for, and are helped by, missionaries across the world. Please give generously to the second collection after all Masses.
NO FAIR TRADE STALL REDUCTIONS:
Several food and non food items are at discounted prices on today’s stall because our wholesaler has cut its margins. Fair Trade Farmers and workshops have had their full agreed fair price for their quality produce.
ADMISSIONS TO OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL, LIMES AVENUE:
Admission forms are now available for collection from the School for next September. Your child must be at least 4 years old by 31st August 2009. Please collect from the school.
MRS GERRY ADAMS:
Mrs Adams is retiring as a Head Supervisor from Our Lady of Lourdes School after 37 years of service. There will be a Mass on Tuesday 21st October at 2 pm in the Church to which all past pupils are invited.
FOUR SEASONS DRAW:
The Autumn draw will be on Sunday 9th November after the 9.45am Mass in the Parish Hall. All subs need to be in by Saturday 8th November. New members can join by completing an application form from the Paper Shop.
OFFERTORY ENVELOPES:
Anyone who has not previously had a box of envelopes and wishes to make their weekly donation to the Parish by using them for planned giving, please complete and return a pledge card which can be obtained from the Paper Shop. Completed cards should be returned to the Office before 26th October. Thank you.
2009 CONFIRMATION:
Application forms for next year’s Confirmation are available from the Paper Shop. You should be at least 14 years old as of 31st August 2008. Details are on the forms.

This season’s Daily Meditations follow the life and writings of St. Paul in this, the bimillenium of his birth. There is a book of readings and reflections, which you can purchase from the paper shop and which starts from today, 19th October, and cover the next six weeks.
