The reception of Jean’s body into the church will be on Monday 2nd February at 4.30 pm, and the Requiem will follow on Tuesday 3rd at 10 am.
CANDLEMAS:
The Blessing of Candles will take place at 8 am and 10 am Mass on Monday 2nd February.
FEBRUARY BAPTISM COURSE:
Begins tomorrow, Monday 2nd. Please come to the Parish Centre between 7 – 8 pm to complete an application form. The second part of the course follows at 7.30 pm on Monday 9th.
FEBRUARY FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Parents: Tuesday 3rd at 8 pm.
Children: Saturday 7th at 10 am.
All: 11.15 Mass on Sunday 8th.
SUNDAY MORNING REFRESHMENT ROTAS:
Are ready for collection from the Paper Shop.
SCOUT GROUP RACE NIGHT:
Is this Friday, February 6th, in the Parish Hall from 8 pm. Please see the posters for details. An excellent family evening!
PARISH FUND-RAISING LUNCH:
On Sunday 15th February from 1.30 pm in the Parish Hall. For £12.50 you will get a three course meal and a glass of wine. Tickets are limited so make sure you buy yours straight away – they will be on sale after all Masses today. All funds raised will go towards the new benches.
THE WINTER 4 SEASONS DRAW will take place on Sunday 8th February in the Parish Hall after the 8.30 am Mass.Subscriptions need to be in by Saturday 7th. New members are always welcome and application forms are available in the paper shop.
BERNADETTE CLUB:
Meets on Friday 6th February at 2pm in the Parish Hall – all welcome. For those going on the outing £25 is now due.

MASS OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY:
The Cardinal is holding a special Mass at Westminster Cathedral on 30th May for all couples celebrating their 10th, 25th, 40th, 50th or 60th wedding anniversary this year. If you would like to attend, please let the Office have your names, wedding date, full postal address and email or phone number.
JANUARY SALE – THANK YOU
A Very Big Thank You to all who helped with, and supported, the January sale. A marvellous £1,465 was raised. Also a big thank you for a donation of £500. All money raised is for the Parish Hymn Book Fund. Thank you all once again. Prize winners list is on the notice board ~ Janet Butterworth.
