PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
Thank you to all those who contributed so generously to support the Seminary. You were kind enough to donate £3,228. If anyone still wishes to donate to the fund, then please give your donation to one of the Parish Team or place it in an envelope and put it through the Presbytery Letter Box. Please also continue to pray for the work of the Seminary and that more men may answer the call of God to serve him in his Church as Priests.
FAIR TRADE STALL WEEKEND:
This is a good day to stock up on your favourite Fair Trade goodies as the next stall is not until 20th June. We are well stocked today. What you pay ensures a fair price for hard working farmers in developing countries. Profits from the stall go to CAFOD.

LONDON MARATHON FOR GUIDE DOGS:
Michael McGowan did the London Marathon in 5 hours 31mins, longer than he hoped as he walked after a minor accident at mile 19. The sweepstake winner guessed 5 hours exactly. He thanks all who sponsored him for the Guide Dogs: the total is approaching £1,000 and may reach £1,500.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Thank you to the Catechists and to all those who worked hard to make the First Holy Communion Celebration yesterday such a memorable event for all those involved. There is a rehearsal for those making their First Communion next weekend, on Friday 14th May at 6 pm.

The Requiem will take place on Tuesday 11th May at 10 am.

The Baptism Preparation Course continues on Monday 10th May at 7.30pm in the Small Hall.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL VACANCIES:
Supervisor required for one hour from 4pm on a Tuesday and Friday. Also required two people to escort children from Garfield School’s Breakfast club to Our Lady of Lourdes School two hours a week 8.30am – 9am. Closing date 21st May. Please contact the school on 0208 361 0767.
CEMETERY MASS:
This will take place at New Southgate Cemetery on Saturday 5th June at 11 am.
CELEBRATION OF PRIESTHOOD:
A Mass will take place here at 7.30 pm on Friday 18th June to mark the Year of the Priest, followed by a reception in the Hall.
