ANULI IGBOAKA SPONSORED WALK:
Anuli would like to thank every one from the parish for their kind and generous donations (at the mass collection and online) for her sponsored walk, which amounted to £298. The Good Counsel Network were very grateful. Thank you very much.

SEPTEMBER BAPTISM COURSE:
This continues with the preparation session on Monday 13th September at 7.30pm in the Small Hall.

CAFOD:
This weekend there will be a second collection after every Mass for CAFOD to help with the relief effort after the floods in Pakistan.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY:
We had a very good response from people offering to be Catechists for Children’s Liturgy at the 11.15am Mass. If anyone else would like to help please give your name to one of the Clergy or the Parish Office. There will be a meeting for those who have given their names on Tuesday 14th September at 7pm.

RCIA:
If you would like to know more about the Catholic Faith or are thinking about becoming a Catholic then the RCIA course is ideal for you. This year the RCIA Course begins on Sunday 3rd October at 11am and will run until Easter.

READERS ROTA:
New Rotas are available for collection from the Paper Shop.

SUNDAY MORNING COFFEE:
New rotas also available in the Paper Shop.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING:
Monday 13th September, 8.15 pm in the Small Hall.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION PREPARATION:
Parents who have completed application forms for this year’s First Holy Communion course are invited to meet the Priests and a Catechist on Monday 20th September between 5pm and 9pm. There is a list in the Hall porch for you to book your slot.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CATECHISTS:
It would be helpful to have a few more Catechists to help with the children preparing for First Holy Communion who are not in Catholic schools. These sessions are held once a month on a Saturday morning. If you are interested, please put your details on the slip at the bottom of the newsletter and hand it to one of the clergy or to the Parish Office.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
Is looking for volunteers to participate in a ‘Pennies to Pounds’ project. The project will involve working with pairs of children in Year One to talk about numbers and money. Training will take place to explain the activities involved. If you are able to commit one hour per week over the Autumn term, and would enjoy the opportunity to support children’s learning, please contact the school office on 020 8361 0767 to find out more.

FAIR TRADE STALL:
The first Stall since the Summer break is in the Hall after all Masses today except Sunday evening. It costs a little more than the equivalent multinational offering but is good quality, good for suppliers in developing countries and good for your soul.
