RCIA:
If you would like to know more about the Catholic Faith or are thinking about becoming a Catholic then the RCIA course is ideal for you. This year the RCIA Course begins on Sunday 3rd October at 11am and will run until Easter. There are application forms in the Paper shop. For those interested in joining the course there will be a short meeting on Monday 27th September at 8 pm.
COUNTING ROTA:
More volunteers are needed to help count the offerings on Sunday afternoons. You will be on a rota once every six weeks. Please give you names to one of the Clergy or the Parish Office if you are able to help – thank you.
MASS BOOKS:
Please do not forget to leave your Mass books at the back of the Church when you leave. We are running short and they are no longer available so we cannot buy any more. If you have taken a Mass book home then please return it – thank you.
McMILLAN COFFEE MORNING:
You are invited to be part of the Big Coffee Morning held in aid of the McMillan Nurses in the Parish Hall after all Masses on Sunday 3rd October. Offers of homemade cakes & raffle prizes would be very welcome. Free admission, coffee as usual by donation. Cakes & produce stall, gifts, books & raffle.

CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY Friday 1st October:
Please take an envelope for your donation. The collection will take place after all Masses next weekend. You are urged to use the Gift Aid form if you are a UK Taxpayer.

Paper Shop, Readers, Sunday morning coffee volunteers and Eucharistic Ministers: New Rotas for all are available for collection from the Paper Shop today.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FOR CHILDREN AT NON-CATHOLIC SCHOOLS:
If you have completed a form for this year’s course you are invited to meet the Priests and a Catechist on Monday 27th September at 7 pm.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CATECHISTS:
We are looking for more catechists to join the team who take the children at non-Catholic schools. These sessions are held once a month on a Saturday morning. If you are interested, please put your details on the slip at the bottom of the newsletter and hand it to one of the clergy or to the Parish Office. Would the lady who kindly offered her name to Fr Tom last weekend, please speak to Fr Tom today – thank you.
PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO ROME & ASSISI
16th – 21st OCTOBER 2010:
We will assemble in the church car park on 16th October, by 9.30am at the latest in order to catch the coach to Stansted Airport. Please do not be late!
DEACON VINCENT:
Everyone is invited to the Ordination to the Priesthood of Deacon Vincent on Saturday 30th October at Midday at the Parish Church of St Mellitus, Tollington Park, N4 3QW.
