Acts 3: 13-15

Peter tells the leaders of Israel that although they rejected Jesus, he is their way to salvation.

Jesus lays aside his divine glory and humbles himself even to the extent of dying a hideous death by crucifixion.

Even in this, the bleakest of the four Passion accounts, Jesus is recognised in the end as ‘son of God’.
