FR DAVID WRITES:
Thank you to the Cardinal, priests and everyone who came to our special Mass here on Friday to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart and our Parish Centenary. Many thanks to everyone who helped to prepare and/or celebrate this special event. Lots of work went into the wonderful evening. Please pray that the Lord will be with us in the years ahead. Please pray for Father Jerome who has been appointed as Parish Priest of St John Vianney Parish, West Green, in addition to his role as Justice and Peace Coordinator of the Holy Ghost Fathers in Britain. Please also pray for Fr Andrew Bowden who has been appointed as Parish Priest of Poplar and Limehouse. Congratulations to them both. The appointments will begin in September.
ORDINATION SEASON
Please pray for Thomas Blackburn and Robert Smialek who were ordained deacons last weekend. Please also pray for Francis Thomas, John Casey, Patrick van der Vorst, Marco Lazzaron and Juan Sola Garcia who will be ordained to the priesthood in Westminster Cathedral next Saturday.
ROCCO LOMBARDO RIP
The Funeral Mass will be Monday 26th June at 10am. May he rest in peace.
MICHAEL BOLGER RIP
There will be a memorial Mass here to celebrate the life of Michael on Saturday 1st July at 11am followed by refreshments in the hall. All who knew Michael are invited to attend.
ADVANCE NOTICE
The Holy Day of Obligation for Saints Peter and Paul will be on Thursday 29 June. Masses here will be at 8am, 10am and 7.30pm.

As part of our Centenary celebrations, there will be a Parish Barbecue in the courtyard on the evening of Friday 14 July. Tickets will be available from next weekend. If you would like to come, please make a note of the date. Thank you to those who are already involved as volunteers and organisers.
AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED: PRAY THE ROSARY
Our ACN group invite parishioners to join them in praying the rosary for persecuted Christians after the 10am Sunday Mass. They also invite new members to join them. Please speak to Anuli Igboaka or one of the priests.
