FR DAVID WRITES
On Friday we celebrated a lovely Mass with the whole primary school in thanksgiving to God for the recent First Confessions and First Holy Communions. Thank you to all those involved. Y2 parents: please keep an eye out for the newsletter in the coming weeks about registration for the next First Holy Communion programme.
HOLY DAY FOR SAINTS PETER & PAUL
This Thursday is the solemnity of the holy apostles Peter and Paul, patrons of the Church of Rome. Masses here will be at 8am, 10am and 7.30pm. Children and staff from our primary school will join us at the 10am Mass.
PETER’S PENCE
There will be a collection for Peter’s Pence, a charity administered by His Holiness the Pope, next weekend after all Masses.
MICHAEL BOLGER RIP
Next Saturday morning at 11am we have the memorial Mass for Michael Bolger. All welcome.
DIVINE MERCY RETREAT
The Divine Mercy Apostolate, London, is holding a Divine Mercy Retreat at St George’s RC Church, 970 Harrow Road, HA0 2QE on Saturday 8 July from 1.30—4.30 pm. The Retreat will include teachings on the Message of Divine Mercy, Holy Mass, Hour of Mercy with Stations of the Cross, Adoration and Benediction and Veneration of the Image of Merciful Jesus. CARITAS MASS AT ENFIELD TOWN
Caritas are celebrating Mass at the church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St George, Enfield, EN2 6DS, on Thursday 29th June at 7 pm. Especially invited are all those with learning disabilities and their families and friends.

PARISH BARBECUE
As part of our centenary celebrations, there will be a Parish Barbecue in the courtyard on the evening of Friday 14 July. This promises to be a really lovely summer celebration, with food and a bar. Tickets are available from this weekend. Please do get a ticket and be sure to join us! If you would like to help, please speak to Joe or Mary Sutton.
AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED GROUP
Our ACN group invite parishioners to join them in praying the rosary for persecuted Christians after the 10am Sunday Mass. They also invite new members to join them. Please speak to Anuli Igboaka or one of the priests. If you are interested in knowing more about Aid to the Church in Need, you are invited to join then on Sunday 2nd July for a meeting in the Small Hall from 11.30am-12.30pm to share ideas and plan for Red Wednesday.
