OCTOBER
October is the month of the Holy Rosary. You can join the rosary here every weekday at 9.30am, before 10am Mass. A plenary indulgence may be obtained, under the usual conditions, by reciting five decades of the Rosary in church, or as a family at home.
NOVEMBER: MASSES & PRAYERS FOR THE HOLY SOULS RIP
November is the month of the Holy Souls. Prayer sheets and envelopes are available in the church porch. Please take one of each and return to the letter box Please include an offering if you can as many of the Masses in November are given over to Holy Souls. Thank you.
GIFT AID
It is now time to complete our Gift Aid Application to the Tax Office for this year. We can claim 25% of the value of your offering to the parish but you do have to pay the tax in the first place! So we need to know if you have stopped paying tax. We also need your correct and current address, so if you have moved in the last year or two, please make sure you have let us know. If anyone would like to start offering Gift Aid, please contact the office for a form. Thank you all—our claim for 2021/22 amounted to £17,643.30.
CHRISTMAS MARKET
This year’s sale will take place on the weekend of 18th/19th November. Items for raffle prizes are welcome and can be left in the Paper shop. Cakes on the day will be most welcome. All funds raised will go towards the new candlesticks for the altar.
FR JEROME
Fr Jerome is looking forward to coming back here for a special ‘Farewell Mass’ on Saturday 11 November at 11.30am. This will be followed by a reception in the church hall. A collection for this will be taken at all Masses this weekend. Please be as generous as you can. Thank you in advance.

AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED - RED WEDNESDAY 22 NOVEMBER
