We now have a gallery of photos from the Mass in celebration of priesthood online. Take a look and see how many of the priests, all of whom have served here over the years, you can recognise.

Anuli Igboaka, a parishoner, is taking part in a 10 mile sponsored walk on Saturday 21st August to raise money for the Guild of Our Lady of Good Counsel , a Catholic organisation which provides support and practical help for new and expectant mothers in difficult circumstances to enable them to keep and care for their babies.

She would be most grateful if you could spare any money to support the charity. Anuli (or a list) will be at the back of the church after all masses this week and next week to take down details of any potential sponsors.  Alternatively (and easier) you could donate online by clicking on the following link www.justgiving.com/Anulika-Igboaka. Anuli is grateful for any contribution at all. Thank you.

We now have a gallery of photos taken at the rehearsals of Born For This online, but here are a couple of tasters for what you'll find there.

Born For This

OLOL priests

On Friday June 18th we invited all the priests who have served in the parish over the years to return for a Mass in celebration of priesthood. And, so long as they weren't dead, or ill, or on a different continent, they all came. Unfortunately, England were playing in the World Cup that night, but those who heard Mass could only give thanks afterwards for missing the match. Those who chose football missed a wonderful occasion, and suffered through one of the worst England performances in recent times.

We've put galleries of pictures from the rehearsals of Born For This online, if you would like to refresh your memories of this extraordinary staging of the Stations of the Cross.

And, somewhat tardily, we've also created a gallery of pictures taken at the parish lunch in, ahem, February.
