Heavenly Father,
We ask your blessing upon His Royal Highness, Prince William and Catherine
As they pledge their love for each other in marriage.
May your love unite them throughout their lives.
Grant them the strength to serve you,
our country and our commonwealth
with integrity and faithfulness.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, visited Wren Academy in Hilton Avenue, North Finchley on 3rd February to perform the school's official opening ceremony.

During his visit, as well as unveiling a commemorative plaque, Dr Williams toured the Academy, conducted a special opening service and took part in a question and answer session with students.

Mass will be at 8am, 10am & 7.30 pm, when ashes will be distributed.

Volunteers are needed to run the evening Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 7 pm – Groups or individuals are welcome.

There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament after the 12.30 pm Mass until 5.30 pm every Sunday during Lent, except Palm Sunday.  There are lists in the Porch for you to sign if you wish to take part in this.

This Lent the Archbishop has asked us to use the book, ‘Faithful Pilgrims’ (available in the Repository at  £1.50) which is based upon the talks and the homilies given by the Pope on his visit here last year.  We will meet each Wednesday in Lent to study this book, beginning on Wednesday 16th March at 7.30pm in the Upstairs Meeting Room.

Also available is the book, ‘Walk with Me’ which contains meditations for every day during Lent and costs £1.00.
