JANUARY SALE:
The Big January Sale will take place in the Hall on Saturday 24th January after the evening Mass and on Sunday 25th after all morning Masses.  A larger then ever selection of hats, gloves and scarves will be on sale and many other items all at great prices.If you can donate any books, toys, DVD’s, CD’s, gifts or toiletries etc it will be a great help.  Prizes for the raffle will also be most welcome as will offers of cakes on the day.Items for sale can be left the Office during opening times.  Any queries please call me on 01707 664843.All monies raised will go towards the Parish Hymn Book fund.Please note not second hand clothing or videos.  Thank you all very much please do come along for a bargain ~ Janet Butteworth.

THINKING OF THE PRIESTHOOD?
On Tuesday 3rd February, there will be an opportunity for those of you who are thinking about joining the priesthood to ask questions and hear from those who are already priests, at St. Paul’s, Bradley Road, Wood Green from 7.30 pm.  If you are interested, please see the poster in the Porch.

The talks start on Wednesday 7th January, 8:00 - 9:30pm, in the Church Hall, Church of Mary Mother of God, Nag's Head Road, Ponders End, EN3 7AR. The speaker is Peter McWilliams, Head of RE, St Ignatius College 

NORTH LONDON HOSPICE:
Many thanks to all of you who attended the Coffee Morning at 12, Betstyle before Christmas, which raised over £410 for the Hospice. 

BERNADETTE CLUB:
The Post Christmas meeting is on  Friday 9th January between 2 – 4 pm.  All welcome.

FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS, ST PAUL’S WOODLAND WAY:
Our Ecumenical Carol Service with St Paul’s takes place this evening, Sunday 21st December,  at 6.30 pm.  Our choir and readers will be taking part and you are all invited to join them.

ADVENT PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
Will take place on Monday 22nd December at 2.30 pm & 7.30 pm.

TINS FOR THE HOMELESS:

Christmas Eve: Family Mass 6.30 pm

11.30 pm: Readings and carols 
12.00 am: Midnight Mass 

Christmas Day: 8.30 am; 9.45 am; 11.15 am; 12.30pm         

THERE IS NO 6.30 pm MASS ON CHRISTMAS DAY

CRIB:
The Knights of St Columba will be putting up the Christmas Tree and Crib on Tuesday 16th December at 8 pm.  We need some strong volunteers  to help construct the Crib.  Please be in the church ready to start at 8 pm.  Thank you. 

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:
On Sunday afternoon between 1.15 pm and 5.30 pm, ending with Benediction.  You are all welcome to spend half an hour or so with the Blessed Sacrament during the afternoon.

ADVENT TALKS:
The Advent talks on St Paul continue on Wednesday, 17th  December, at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall.   This week the topic is Paul’s second missionary journey.
