Act 9: 26-31
Saul’s visit to Jerusalem finds the disciples wary of him, but Barnabas tells them about his conversion. When he gets into an argument with some Hellenist Jews he is forced to flee to Tarsus.
1 John 3: 18-24
John describes the Christian life as filled with love that is real and active, not mere talk. He talks about keeping God’s commandments, and affirms that whatever we ask of God we shall receive because we keep God’s commandments.
John 15: 1-8
Jesus declares that he is the true vine and his Father the vinedresser. Every branch that bears no fruit is cut away.
