BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:
2nd May is a Bank Holiday, and there will be one Mass at 10 am, after which the church will be closed for the day.

PAPER SHOP:
We are looking for new volunteers to join a rota to keep the Paper Shop open on Sunday evenings for ten minutes before and after the Mass.  We will not be able to open the shop otherwise.  Please contact Cecilia on 0208 361 9408 after 4 pm if you want to know more.

We now have enough interest to book our own coach to Walsingham.  It will leave from here at 6.30 am, and return around 8 pm.  A seat on the coach will cost £10/head, and is being subsidised by the Parish.  Please bring your £10 to the Office to book your place on the coach or put through the letter box in a clearly marked envelope.  Seats are filling up fast so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.

LOURDES TRIP:
There will be a Meeting on Tuesday 24th May at 7 pm in the Small Hall for all those going on the Lourdes trip.  Please make sure your passports and EHIC cards are up to date.

SPONSORED WALK:
Join Caritas St Joseph for a sponsored walk in Arnos Park on Sunday 15th May.  We will meet at 2 pm in the Parish Hall, where light refreshments with music will be provided at the end of the walk.  Contact Maggie at St Joseph’s on 020 8202 3999 for a sponsorship form or contribute £5 to take part, if not sponsored.

PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
The annual collection will take place next weekend.  Currently the Diocese has 29 men in formation for the Priesthood.  The Fund also pays for promoting vocations and on-going training for specialised ministries, eg in hospitals and prisons.  It costs £25,000/year, or £125,000 for a minimum six year course to train a priest for parish placement.

MICHAEL DELANEY RIP:
The Requiem will take place on Wednesday, 13th April at 10 am.  The body will be brought into church the evening before at 7 pm.

Many thanks to our choirs for their tireless "choiring" during Holy Week, also thanks to the young Doctor visiting our parish who saw to our poorly parishioner just before the Good Friday service commenced.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
•    Every morning from 6.45 – 7.45 am.
•    Friday: 6.15 pm – 7.15 pm.

Stations of the Cross
•    After the 10 am weekday Mass.
•    Fridays: 7.30 pm led by Parish Groups.

CHURCHES TOGETHER STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
Saturday 19th March.  Meet at All Saints, Friern Barnet at 12 noon to process down Oakleigh Road North with various stopping points for the 14 Stations, ending at St John the Apostle Church in Whetstone for refreshments at about 2 pm.
