LENT 2018:
Please take a leaflet from the back of the church to read about how we all may use the coming season of Lent to prepare ourselves for the celebrations of Holy Week and Easter.
Please note the Penitential Service is on Tuesday 20th March (not February!) at 2.30 pm & 7 pm.

CONFIRMATION 2018:
Application forms are available for this year’s Confirmation Course. Candidates should be in year 9 or above. Please sign for, and take, a form today from the Paper Shop and return it on the Parents/candidates information and registration evening Tuesday 27th February at 7.30 pm.

FEAST DAY PARISH SOCIAL!
On 10th February with dinner and live music. This will include a two course meal with wine and a Ceilidh live band. THE JANUARY SALE:
The Sale will take place in the Parish Hall next weekend, 20th/21st January, after the 6.30 pm Saturday Mass and all Sunday morning Masses. Offers of gifts, raffle prizes, CDs/DVDs, toiletries, books and toys etc will be most welcome as will cakes for sale on the day. Items for sale can be left in the Parish Office during opening times and in the Paper Shop during the weekend Mass times. Please do come along, find a bargain and support the Parish. This year money raised will be for new altar servers albs. Thank you all – Janet Butterworth

THANK YOU!
Fr. David, Fr. Gabriele, Fr. Johnson and Fr. Thomas would like to thank everyone for their good wishes, cards & gifts over Christmas. Also a very big thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make our Christmas celebrations such a success! A particular thank you from the choirs to all who participated in the singing with such enthusiasm at our Christmas Eve Masses!

CHRISTMAS DAY MASSES:
Eucharistic ministers are asked to sign the sheet in the porch if they are available for the Masses on Christmas Day. Please note we are also asking for some ministers to be available to take communion to the Hall at the 6.30 pm Mass on Christmas Eve.
