WORLDS BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING:
Our Scout Group will be serving cake with your coffee in the Hall after the morning masses on 30th September to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. Offers of cake will be grateful received on the day!

FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION:
Wednesday, 15th August, is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and a Holy Day. Mass will be at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm.

HOLY LAND 2018:
There will be a pre-pilgrimage meeting here on Thursday 20th September at 7 pm in the church. Please make sure you can attend this important meeting. Please also note that the balance for your payments is due by 20th August. These should be paid directly to Tangney Tours Ltd. Pilgrim House, Station Court, Borough Green TN15 8NF Tel. 01732 886 666. We currently have 43 pilgrims. There are 7 tickets still available. If you would like to go, please contact Tangney asap so they can advise our hotels.

MEDICAL MISSION SISTERS APPEAL:
Sr. Linda Maog will be with us next weekend to make an appeal on behalf of her order, who are the designated Diocesan Mission Appeal for 2018.

FR EMMANUEL EDEH CSSP.OFR:
The Very Rev Fr Prof Emmanuel Edeh CSSp. OFR will say Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes at 2 pm this afternoon.
Fr. Emmanuel is the Founder of the Catholic Prayer Ministry (CPM) and the Pilgrimage Centre of Eucharistic Adoration and Special Marian Devotion Elele, Nigeria.
There will be a personal consultation in the Parish Hall after the Mass. ALL are invited to both.

“THE WORK WORK” by Maire Buonocore.
A celebration of the Work of Women in World War I at St Edmunds, Edmonton, on Friday 13th July at 7.30 pm. The concert is free, but a retiring collection will be taken for the Soup Kitchen for the homeless.

MARY’S MEALS:
Volunteers will be at the Saturday vigil and Sunday morning Masses on the weekend of 14th/15th July. The deadline for all clothing donations is 12.30 on Sunday 15th July, as that is when the van leaves for the final time.
Mary’s meals are happy to accept:
- CLOTHING (men, women & children)
- BEDDING (blankets, sheets, pillow cases, valances)
- TEXTILES (incl. curtains, towels etc.)
- LEATHER GOODS (shoes, bags , belts)
Please no cushions, duvets or pillows.
Mary’s Meals feeds children one good school meal every day in 15 countries. Because of our low costs we can do this for as little as £13.90 per child per year!
