RED WEDNESDAY – 22nd November:
The Church will be lit up with a red light next week for ‘Red Wedneday’.
March 2017: Newly-ordained priest Father Martin Banni returned with the Blessed Sacrament to his church in the ancient Nineveh Plains, northern Iraq, following the expulsion of Daesh (ISIS).
To show support for the work of ACIN on 22nd November, you could: - Wear red.
Attend Adoration after the 10 am Mass here.

PRIMARY SCHOOL FORMS:
If you are considering a place at a Catholic primary school for Sept. 2018, Fr David will be signing the ‘Certificate of Catholic Practice’ on Monday 27th November, 11.30 am – 12.30 pm and Thursday 30th November, 5.30 – 7 pm.  Please sign the form in the paper shop to confirm which session you will attend.  

SICK & RETIRED PRIESTS COLLECTION:
Next week there will be a second collection to support the sick and retired priests of the Diocese of Westminster. Your generous donation helps ensure that priests, who have followed their vocation and given their lives to the Church, are cared for and supported when they are sick and when they retire. Donation leaflets/envelopes are available in the back of the church. Please take one home, read about this important work, and bring it back next weekend with your donation.  Please continue to pray for the wellbeing of all of our clergy - active, retired and ill.

ALL SAINTS DAY:
Tuesday, 1st November, is All Saints Day and an Holy Day of Obligation.  Mass will be at 8 am, 10 am & 7.30 pm.  We will be joined by our school for the 10 am Mass.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
This is your chance to support our missionaries proclaiming the Gospel of peace to those who suffer around the world.  By supporting Missio, the Pope’s official charity for overseas mission, you will be sharing the peace and love of Christ with all people by helping everyone in need, regardless of background of belief. Please give what you can, and if possible, please use the Gift Aid envelopes if you are a taxpayer.  Thank you.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday and the Holy Father invites all Catholics to contribute to a special collection for Missio, his official Charity for overseas mission.  Your support on World Mission Sunday will help brave missionaries in proclaiming the Gospel of peace in South Sudan and around the world.  Please join in this special day that unites Catholics all over the world in prayer, celebration and care for the mission of the Church.  You will be able to Gift Aid your donations by using envelopes provided by Missio at the back of the Church – Thank you.

CAFOD HARVEST FAST DAY:
CAFOD works with poor communities overseas on our behalf, helping them to tackle poverty and injustice.  Last Friday was Harvest Fast Day and there will be a collection after all Masses this weekend.  Please use the envelopes if you can, and if you pay UK tax, complete the Gift Aid section to add 25% to the amount that you donate.  Thank you so much for your continued support and generosity.

Parents who have completed an application form are asked to sign up for an appointment to meet the Priest and Catechist. The list is available in the Paper Shop today for the appointments which will be on  Monday 25th September.
