FIRST HOLY COMMUNION MASS:
Our FHC children are celebrating the end of their course with the Going Forth Mass today at 11.15 am, which will be followed by a small party in the Parish Hall. Certificates will be presented during the Mass.

CANDLE STANDS:
The candle stands at the back of the church need someone to keep them in order. If you come to mass during the week and would like to know more, please speak to one of the priests or have a word in the office. Thank you.

CEMETERY MASS AT ST MARY’S:
This Mass will take place on Monday 17th June at St Mary’s, Kensal Green at 11 am.

There will be no 8am Mass on Bank Holiday Monday, and the Church will be closed after the 10 am mass on that day.

PARISH VOLUNTEERS “OPEN DAY”:
In the Hall today, after Mass, you will find people who volunteer to do various “jobs” around the Parish, who would be delighted to tell you exactly what it is that they do. You can find out more about our Saturday Group, the Bernadette Club, the Fair Trade stall and the choir amongst many other things – please pop in, have a look, and find out if there is anything you’d like to volunteer for.
BAPTISM APPLICATIONS:
The Baptism course continues on Monday 20th May at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.
BRIAN O’MAHONY:
Brian, who spent some time here at Our Lady of Lourdes during his formation for the Priesthood, will be ordained Deacon on 15th June at Westminster Cathedral at 10.30 am. You are all most welcome to attend - please remember Brian in your prayers.

PARISH VOLUNTEER GROUPS:
Next Sunday, 19th May, several of our Parish Groups will be in the Hall after all Masses to chat about their work and involvement in the Parish. This would be a great opportunity for us all to discover what is done, and what needs to be done, around a busy parish, from reading to cleaning – maybe you could volunteer a couple of hours yourself? Pop in next Sunday and find out!
ST MICHAEL’S SCHOOL FORMS:
The priests will be available to sign St Michael’s Secondary School forms on Monday 24th June – further details to follow.
EUCHARISTIC MINISTER ROTA:
Please take one from the Paper Shop, if you have not already received it via email. If you would like to receive your rota by email, please let the Office know.
NEW SOUTHGATE CEMETERY MASS:
The Annual Mass at the Cemetery will take place on Saturday 8th June at 11 am.
MENINGITIS UK:
Lauren Donaghy will be taking part in a tandem skydive to raise much needed funds for Meningitis UK on Monday 27th May. If you would like to support both Lauren and Meningitis UK, donations can be made via www.justgiving.com/Lauren-Donaghy. Thank you.

PARISH VOLUNTARY OPEN DAY:
After all Masses next weekend all Parish Volunteer groups will be in the Parish Hall to meet with Parishioners for a chat about the work that each group do. Please pop into the hall to see what goes on in the Parish and perhaps consider volunteering yourself.

ANNUAL COLLECTION FOR THE PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
There will be a collection after all Masses this weekend for the Priest Training Fund. This is a particularly important collection as we now have 40 men training for the Priesthood in our Seminary.

ANNUAL COLLECTION FOR THE PRIEST TRAINING FUND:
Next weekend the annual collection for the Priest Training Fund will take place. This is a particularly important collection as we now have 40 men training for the Priesthood in our Seminary. This is more than double the number we had 10 years ago which is wonderful news. But it also means that more money needs to be raised as is cost around £50 a day to prepare every seminarian for the Priesthood. There are envelopes available today for you to take away and return next weekend. Thank you for your support.

PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
These will take place on Monday 25th March at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm.
CHRISM MASS:
With the Blessing of the Oils, at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday 26th March at 12 noon.
COLLECTION FOR THE HOLY PLACES:
This will take place during the Good Friday Liturgy of the Passion.
SEVEN LAST WORDS:
The Seven Last Words from the Cross, set to music by Haydn, will be performed by Nigel Blomiley and his Quartet on Good Friday evening at
7 pm in the church. You are all welcome, but are advised to bring a cushion for the benches.
RCIA CANDIDATES:
Please pray for those who will be baptised and received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Service next Saturday evening.
EASTER SUNDAY:
Mass will be at 8.30 am, 9.45 am, 11.15 am and 12.30 pm. Please note that there is no evening Mass on Easter Sunday.
