HOLY WEEK & EASTER:
Information concerning this week’s services, mass times and confessions are in this newsletter, on the reverse of last week’s newsletter, and are also available on the website.

PENITENTIAL SERVICES:
These will take place on Monday 25th March at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm.

CHRISM MASS:
With the Blessing of the Oils, at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday 26th March at 12 noon.

COLLECTION FOR THE HOLY PLACES:
This will take place during the Good Friday Liturgy of the Passion.

SEVEN LAST WORDS:
The Seven Last Words from the Cross, set to music by Haydn, will be performed by Nigel Blomiley and his Quartet on Good Friday evening at
7 pm in the church.  You are all welcome, but are advised to bring a cushion for the benches.

RCIA CANDIDATES:
Please pray for those who will be baptised and received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil Service next Saturday evening.

EASTER SUNDAY:
Mass will be at 8.30 am, 9.45 am, 11.15 am and 12.30 pm.  Please note that there is no evening Mass on Easter Sunday.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS ON GOOD FRIDAY:
We are still looking for a few more volunteers for Good Friday Stations of the Cross, which will take place at 11 am.  If you are interested please leave your name on the list in the porch.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
This Friday’s Stations of the Cross will be led by the Scouts at  7.30 pm.

CONFESSION TIMES:
Please note there will be no evening Confessions this Saturday, 23rd March.

EILEEN McAVOY RIP:
The Requiem Mass will take place on Monday 25th March at 10 am.  Mrs McAvoy was a teacher in our school for many years.

COMPASS:
The Spring edition of Compass is now available at the back of the church.

FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT:
This weekend, 9th/10th March, the Fairtrade stall will be open after all Masses, including Sunday evening, to mark Fair Trade Fortnight.

ADULT CONFIRMATION:
We will shortly be holding a course for adults who would like to be Confirmed.  For further information and an application form please see one of the Priests in the Sacristy after Mass.

The Requiem takes place on Monday 11th March at 12 noon.

All those who have taken a form for Confirmation are now invited to attend the Confirmation sign-up on Wednesday 27th February at your appointed time.  Please also bring the course fee of £25.  Thank you.

Exposition will take place on Sundays 17th February and 3rd and 17th March between 1 – 5.30 pm.  Please sign the sheets in the porch so that all the half hour slots are filled.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION COURSE:
Parents meet on Tuesday, 5th February at 8 pm, the children on Saturday 9th at 10 am and the Family Mass for all is Sunday 10th at 11.15 am.

The Blessing of Throats for the Feast of St Blaise will take place on Monday 4th February at the 8 am and 10 am masses.

A Mass for couples celebrating 10th, 25th, 40th, 50th & 60th Wedding Anniversaries this year will take place at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday 18th May.  If you would like to attend please let the Parish Office have your names, date of wedding, full postal address (for your invitation) and an email address (or phone if you don’t have email.)  Thank you.

CONVENT MASS:
There will be Mass in the Convent at 2, Brookdale on Thursday at 7.30pm. All welcome.

LAY MINISTERS:
There are new rotas in the Paper Shop for those who have not received them by email.    Other rotas are still awaiting collection - if you would prefer to receive yours by email, please let the Office know.

CRIB APPEAL:
Thank you all very much for your donations.  The total amount collected was £1,425.  The Society need our support all year round, and particularly welcomes High Street shop vouchers, which can be given to those in need instead of money.
