This year’s discussions are based on the three parts of the Creed and are designed so the participants may be more able to talk about their own faith to others.  The third talk is on Tuesday 18th December at 7.30 pm in the Small Hall.

SCOUT SLEEPOUT:
More than two dozen Scouts slept in cardboard boxes in the Church grounds last night to raise awareness of homelessness in the capital.  Each is trying to raise funds, through sponsorship, for The Passage, London’s  largest voluntary sector day centre for homeless and vulnerable people.  Come and see where they slept this Sunday morning – and if you feel moved or inspired at their efforts, please make a donation.

This much anticipated annual event takes place on Saturday 1st December in the School Hall between 12 noon – 3 pm.  Lots of stalls, raffles and tombolas, and the main Raffle Prize is a Kindle Fire!  All welcome.

“THE GIRL NEXT DOOR”
Ten Ten Theatre invites parishioners to attend an open dress rehearsal on Friday 16th November at 4pm in the Parish Hall.  The Girl Next Door is a story about friendship, new beginnings and aspiration.  This is suitable for people aged 11+.  All are welcome.

Leytonstone, Monday 12th November.  Both masses are at 11.30 am.

PAPERSHOP:
Volunteers are urgently required to help in the Paper Shop.  Unfortunately, if we don’t get any we will not be able to guarantee that the shop will be open at weekends.

ALL SAINTS DAY:
Thursday November 1st is a Holy Day of Obligation and Mass will be at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm.

ALL SOULS DAY:
There will be a Mass for the Dead at 7.30 pm on Friday 2nd November at which you will be invited to light a candle in memory of your departed loved ones.

WORLD MISSION SUNDAY 2012:
Today we share in the work of missionaries around the world as they build schools, provide healthcare and support young churches, often in difficult and dangerous circumstances.  The money collected today will be used in it’s entirety to support mission projects worldwide.  Please use the Gift Aid envelope if you can – you do not have to use them if you don’t pay income tax.  Thank you.

TEN TEN PRODUCTIONS:
Ten Ten Theatre invites parishioners to attend an open dress rehearsal of a play that they are currently producing for secondary schools, on Friday 26th October at 7 pm in the Parish Hall.  ‘Babies’ deals with teenage pregnancy, abortion, parenthood, relationships, marriage and family life.  This play is suitable for people aged 14+.  All are welcome

FOUR SEASONS AUTUMN DRAW:
The Autumn draw will take place on Sunday 4th November after the 9.45am Mass in the Parish Hall. Kindly have your subscriptions paid by Saturday 3rd November.
