LETTER FROM ARCHBISHOP VINCENT NICHOLS – GROWING IN FAITH:
I write to thank you for your support for our ‘Growing in Faith’ campaign.
I am grateful to everyone in your Parish for the attention you have given to this initiative, for the work and prayer with which you are supporting it and, to many of you, for your financial contributions which have been generous indeed.  Growing in Faith is vital because it focusses on our future, giving us some specific foundations for that future, both in our Parishes and throughout the Diocese of Westminster.  Our faith will flourish within parishes which are sound, with ministry of Priests who are well prepared and cared for, and with the witness of practical charity to those in need. These are the foundations of faith we are seeking to strengthen through Growing in Faith.  As you leave Mass today you find a newsletter giving detailed information about Growing in Faith thus far. There is so much more to be done as we are now, as a Diocese, at the half-way stage of the campaign.
