FAIR TRADE STALL:
Our parish Fair Trade stall is open in the hall this weekend after the Saturday 6.30 pm Mass and again on Sunday morning until 12.30 pm. This will be the last stall until mid-September.
BERNADETTE CLUB:
The Bernadette Club are organising a trip to Clacton-on-Sea on Thursday 28th August. The coach will be leaving from the church, and there are still some places available if anyone would like to go. Please contact Pat on 020 8361 0511 for further details.

ST PATRICK’S CEMETERY MASS:
The Annual Mass at St Patrick’s Cemetery, Leytonstone, will take place on Monday 14th July at 11.30 am.
WATERFALL CEMETERY SERVICE:
The Service will take place on Saturday 19th July at 11 am. Please note that there will be no confessions on the morning of that day.

Please sign for, and collect, a self-assessment form from the Sacristy for school entry for 2015 if you are considering a Catholic primary or secondary school for your child. These forms must be returned by 18th July.

Thank you for your generosity last weekend. A total of £732 was collected. This money is personally distributed by Pope Francis to charities of his choice.

The Reception of the Body is on Tuesday, June 24th at 7 pm, and the funeral will follow on Wednesday at 10 am. Family flowers only – donations welcomed for the North London Hospice.

“THIS IS MY BODY”:
A one-woman play on human trafficking presented by Ten Ten Theatre on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st June in the Parish Hall. This play has been instigated by Pope Francis’ fight against human trafficking, and Ten Ten are responding to a personal request from Cardinal Vincent Nichols to bring the issue to light in parishes through drama. PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO ROME & ASSISI 27th Oct – 2nd Nov 2014:

The Club has been meeting for over 12 years and meets once a month on the first Friday in the Hall. There is a leaflet available at the back of the Church with lots more information about this wonderful club for older members of the community.

NEW SOUTHGATE CEMETERY MASS:
Our Annual Mass by the statue of Our Lady takes place on Saturday 7th June at 11 am. There will be no 10 am Mass in the church or morning confessions that day. We will need four Eucharistic Ministers and two Readers for the Mass. If you are able to help please sign the list in the Church Porch – thank you.

PRIEST TRAINING FUND COLLECTION:
A very big thank you for your generosity last weekend. A total of £2,450 was collected. Donations can still be posted through the Presbytery letter box using the Gift Aid envelope or you can donate online at www.rcdow.org.uk/donations.
FINCHLEY CATHOLIC SCHOOL SIXTH FORM CENTRE:
The concert in aid of the Finchley Catholic High School Sixth Form Centre takes place this Saturday, May 24th at 8 pm in the church. Cheese and wine in the hall will follow. Tickets available after all Masses and on the door: £10 or concessions £7.
ST JOSEPH’S PASTORAL CENTRE SPONSORED WALK:

PRIEST TRAINING FUND COLLECTION:
This takes place this weekend. All the money you give will be used to encourage more men to consider the priesthood and to pay for the training of those who come forward. Please give as much as you can afford as the Fund relies on our donations. If you pay UK tax, please complete the Gift Aid slip on the envelope.
FINCHLEY CATHOLIC SCHOOL SIXTH FORM CENTRE:
There is a concert in aid of the new Centre on Saturday 24th May at 8 pm in the church. Tickets on sale after all Masses next weekend priced £10 (concessions £7). Music by Beethoven and Mozart followed by cheese and wine in the Parish Hall.
PARISH AGM:
This will take place this Sunday 11th May at 7.30 pm in the Parish Hall. You are all most cordially invited to attend.
MARY’S MEALS:
Mary’s Meals will be here on 17th/18th May to take away your unwanted textiles, ie. clothes, bags, blankets, towels, curtains, shoes and books. Please bring them to church in black refuse sacks. Mary’s meals feeds children one good meal every day at schools in over 16 countries.

CONFIRMATION 2014:
This year’s Confirmation ceremony will take place on Friday 9th May at 7.30 pm. The rehearsal is on Wednesday, May 7th, starting with Reconciliation at 6.15 pm. All candidates and their sponsors should attend.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Two groups of children will be receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 10th May at 11.30 am & 2.30 pm. Their rehearsal is on Tuesday 6th May
Please note that there will not be a 10 am Mass that day.
BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY:
Next Monday is a bank holiday and there will be one mass at 10 am, after which the church will be closed for the day.
