LENT:

Stations of the Cross will take place after the 10 am Mass  and at 7 pm on Fridays.  This week the evening session will be led by Churches Together. 

Exposition: Sunday afternoon from after the 12.30 pm mass – 5.30 pm.   

Lenten Discussions: Wednesday, 13th April, at 7.30 pm in the Upstairs Meeting Room, using the booklet, ‘Faithful Pilgrims’.  Also available in the Paper Shop is ‘Walk With Me’ which contains meditations for every day during Lent & costs £1. 

HOLY HOUR:

This Sunday from 4.30pm until 5.30pm there will be a special Holy Hour for those who are going to be received into the Church at Easter.  It would be good if as many people as possible were there to support them. 

HOMELESS IN BARNET:

During Lent we will be collecting tins of food for Homeless in Barnet.  Please leave your offerings in the box at the back of the church.  Many thanks.

COLLEEN MORAN RIP:

Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday 24th March at 10am.  The body will be brought into church on 23rd March at 6.30 pm.

This Lent, the Archbishop has asked us to use the book ‘Faithful Pilgrims’ as an aid for our study (available in the Paper Shop £1.50) which is based upon the talks and the homilies given by the Pope when he visited last year.  The next session will be on Wednesday 23rd March in the Upstairs meeting room.

LENT:

Friday evening’s Stations of the Cross will be led this week by the Knights of St Columba. 

Exposition will take place on Sunday afternoon from after the 12.30 pm mass – 5.30 pm.  You can add your name to the list in the porch if you are willing to stay for half an hour. 

The booklet “Walk With Me” , with meditations for Lent is available in the Paper Shop at £1. 

LENTEN ALMS:

There is a box in the Church Porch for your Lenten Alms.  All offerings will go to the St John Southworth Fund and the Friends of the Holy Land, two charities personally chosen by Archbishop Vincent Nichols. 

LENTEN TALKS:

Start on Wednesday, 16th March, at 7.30 pm in the Upstairs Room.  We will be using the booklet, “Faithful Pilgrim”, available from the shop at £1.50 

FAIR TRADE STALL:

In the Hall after all Masses this weekend.

CONFIRMATION 2011:

The next session for the Confirmation candidates will be on Wednesday 9th  March at 7pm.  If you are unable to attend, apologies need to be received by the Parish Office by midday on Wednesday. 

CARD SALE:

The Repository will have a stall in the Parish Hall today after 8.30am, 9.45am and 11.15am Masses.  Amongst other things on sale will be St Patrick’s Day Cards, Easter Cards, First Holy Communion Cards and Confirmation Cards.

JANUARY SALE:

PRAYERS FOR THE SICK:

We pray for the sick at every Mass but only pray for individuals by name for three weeks unless you ask for their name to be included again.
