SERVERS REHEARSALS:
There will be a rehearsal for the Servers who are taking part in the services on Holy (Maundy) Thursday and Good Friday on Tuesday 30th March at 6 pm, and for those who are serving at the Easter Vigil on Saturday 3rd April at 10.30 am. 

EASTER OFFERINGS:
By tradition the collection at Easter are for the Priests of the Parish.  If you are not in the envelope scheme there are envelopes available in the porch for you to use for your offering – thank you. 

PARISH PAPER SHOP/REPOSITORY:
Is just behind the brown door of the Parish Hall and is open before and after all regular weekend masses for Catholic papers, mass cards and other religious items. 

PARISH OFFICE:
Please note that the Office will be open this week, Monday – Thursday, but will closed from Monday 5th – Thursday 8th April.   

LENT TALKS:
The third talk, given by Fr Kevin, will be on Tuesday 23rd March at 7.30 pm when the topic will be “The Burial and Resurrection as described by St Luke.” 

BORN FOR THIS:
Rehearsals continue Tuesday for all those involved at 7.45 pm in the church and hall.  There is a full day rehearsal on Sat 27th March at 10am.  ALL should attend -  please bring your own lunch. 

CONFIRMATION COURSE:
Next session is on Wednesday 24th  March at 7 pm.

OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
The children are performing their Easter Play in the church on Thursday 25th March at 2 pm.  All welcome. 

STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
On Friday after the 10 am Mass and again at 7 pm.  This Friday “Churches Together” will lead the service.

ST VALENTINE’S LUNCH:
Cecilia and Clyde would like to thank everyone who supported the Valentine’s lunch.  A special thankyou to all those who helped.  A fantastic sum of £1,015 was raised towards the Sanctuary flooring.

ASH WEDNESDAY:
Mass will be at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm on Wednesday, 17th February. 

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK:
There will be Mass on Saturday, 20th February at 2.30 pm, followed by refreshments in the Hall.  Please note that there will be no 10 am Mass that day.

HAITI EMERGENCY APPEAL:
Many thanks to all those who helped and supported the January Sale.We raised £1,731, plus the £2,449 collected in Church, making a tremendous total of £4,180 towards the Haiti Appeal Fund.  Please check your raffle tickets, winning numbers are on the Church notice board and prizes can be claimed from the Parish Office – Thank you, Janet Butterworth.

FAIR TRADE SAVINGS PASSED ON
When big supermarkets have Fair Trade food as loss leaders the parish Fair Trade stall stocks up so we still make a profit for Cafod and pass on half the savings to you as you will see in the hall today.
