SECONDARY SCHOOL SIGNINGS:
The Priests will be available to sign secondary school transfer forms on Monday 19th October 6 - 8pm and Tuesday 20th October 5 - 7pm. You are asked to book an appointment on the sheets which can be found in the Parish Hall Lobby from today after all Masses. Please hand in all completed self assessment forms by midday on Friday 16th October.
WORLD MISSION SUNDAY:
Next Sunday, Catholics everywhere unite in celebrating World Mission Sunday. Our prayers and donations help support mission projects and Catholic Communities across the world to grow towards self-sufficiency. The Holy Father invites every Catholic to contribute to a special collection next Sunday after all Masses. Please Gift Aid your donation by using the envelopes found in the Church Porch – thank you.
PARISH LUNCH:
A Very Big Thank You to all those who supported the Parish Lunch last Sunday. A total of £750 was raised towards the Sanctuary Flooring.

MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT:
Thank you to everyone who helped and/or supported the Coffee morning. A total of £623.73 was raised – thank you.
PRAYING FOR THE SICK:
If we are asked to pray for someone who is sick, we will pray at Mass for four weeks, and then in the newsletter for a further four weeks. Please let us know at this point if you wish us to continue. Thank you.

MASS TIMES:

ROTAS AWAITING COLLECTION:
Servers, Readers, Paper Shop volunteers – please collect new rotas from the Paper Shop today.
CAFOD:
Clare Dixon, from CAFOD, will speak at all Masses this weekend, and the Harvest Fast Day collection will be on Sunday 4th October. Please take a Fast day envelope home with you today, read Margaret's story and pray and fast in solidarity next Friday.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL:
Open days for prospective parents will be on Thursday 19th November at 9am and Friday 4th December at 9am.
OCTOBER BAPTISM COURSE:
Begins on Monday 5th October. To complete a form please come to the Parish Hall between 7 – 8 pm. The second part of the course is on Monday 12th at 7.30 pm.

This stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and is for those who are thinking of becoming a Catholic, or who want to know more about the faith. Application forms are available in the Paper Shop and the course begins on Sunday September 20th at 11 am. Please meet in the Hall foyer.
COURSE FOR CHILDREN AT NON CATHOLIC SCHOOLS:
If you wish your child to attend the course, there is a meeting on Tuesday 15th September in the Parish Hall at 7.30 pm for ALL parents. Please bring your application form with you.

BECOMING A CATHOLIC:
Are you someone who is thinking of becoming a Catholic, or even simply wanting to find out more about the Catholic Faith? Is over 18 and not yet confirmed? This parish runs an RCIA course (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) each year from September to Pentecost on Sunday mornings. If you would like to know more or would like a place on the course, please talk to one of the priests, or complete an application form, available from the paper shop. Forms should be returned to the Office as soon as possible. This year’s course will be starting on 19th September.
SUMMER FOUR SEASONS DRAW:
