FR PAT CASSIDY RIP:
As many people were away and missed Fr. Cassidy’s funeral, there will be a Mass on Wed. 26th September at 6 pm at St. Albans, Nether St. N12, to commemorate him.  All are welcome.

COFFEE MORNING:
On Saturday 29th September 10am – 1pm in the Parish Hall as part of the ‘Big Coffee’ morning organized across the country in aid of McMillan Nurses. Offers of cakes would be welcome.  We look forward to seeing you – thank you Eileen 8882-0379.

SACRED HEART PRIMARY SCHOOL:
Are celebrating seventy years of education this year, and invite all those with an interest in the school to a special Mass on Saturday 22nd September at 3 pm in St. Mary Magdalen’s Church.  They are particularly interested in hearing from ex-pupils of the private school – call 8445 3854 or .

CAFOD IN BRAZIL:
Tony Sheen, Diocesan Manager for CAFOD Westminster, will be giving a talk about his recent trip to Brazil on Monday 16th April at Our Lady and St Gregory’s Church, Union Street, Barnet.
Tony met people living in the vast shanty towns of Sao Paulo and visited indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest.  He will tell the inspiring stories of how, with the support of CAFOD's partners, the people he met are finding ways out of poverty, challenging discrimination and seeking justice.

CATHOLIC CHILDREN'S SOCIETY CRIB APPEAL:
The Society would like to thank the parishioners of the Diocese of Westminster for all their support last year, which enabled us to offer a wide range of services to needy children and their families.  We are not only able to help with toys and hampers over the Christmas season, but we can offer support those who are homeless or living on very meagre means.  If you would like to support the charity in any way, please contact Patricia Hatton at 73, St. Charles Square, London W10 6EJ, tel: 89695305 or Catholic Children's Society website.

The Requiem will take place here at 10 am Tuesday 5th December.

MOTHER’S/TODDLERS CANCELLED:
Due to the funeral there will be no Mothers and Toddlers on Tuesday.

PARISH CHRISTMAS PARTY:
Our Annual Thank you Party for all those parishioners who do so much around the Parish to keep it running smoothly takes place in the Hall on Saturday 16th December from 7.30 pm (after evening Mass).  If you help in any way, this is you, so please come along and have a good time!!!!

THE BRIDGE CLUB:
Membership having increased, the Bridge Club need more bridge tables and would very much appreciate it if any parishioner has one they could donate.

"HEELIES" IN THE PARISH HALL:
Due to the possibility of an accident children are asked not to skate around the Hall on wheeled shoes or any other form of skate.  Parents are requested to help enforce this.  Thank you.

FR JOHN:
Fr John will leaving us to take up a new appointment in the Parish of Tooting Bec to be nearer his University.  We will be having a collection this weekend after all Masses.  You may also post any contributions through the Parish letter box in an envelope marked ‘Fr John’ if you wish.  Thank you.

GOD IS LOVE:
A Faith Sharing Group led by Fr Damien will take place every Thursday evening from 26th October until 30th November, 8pm – 9 pm.  Books to accompany the session are available from the Paper Shop priced £1.
