ASH WEDNESDAY (6th FEBRUARY):
There will be Mass at 8 am, 10 am and 7.30 pm at which Ashes will be distributed.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS:
Will be on Friday 8th February after the 10 am Mass and at 7.30 pm.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
Parents: Tuesday 5th 8 pm.
Children: Saturday 9th 10 am.
All: Mass on Sunday at 11.15 am.
LOURDES PILGRIMAGE:
There will be a meeting on Wednesday 9th April at 8 pm for all those wishing to come to Lourdes in October. It is important to attend so that application forms can be completed. A deposit of £75.00 is required. Please see notice board for further details.

PRESENTATION OF THE LORD:
Saturday 2nd February. There will be blessing of candles at the 10am Mass.
MASS FOR THE HOUSEBOUND:
If anyone would like to hear Mass over the phone, or would be able to help with setting up the system at the Saturday 6.30 pm Mass, please give your name and details to the office or call Maureen on 8886 3961. Please see the notice in the porch.
BIOETHICS FROM A CATHOLIC PERSPECTIVE:
Junior healthcare workers are invited to explore Catholic healthcare ethics on Wednesday 30th January from 5:30pm at Westminster Cathedral - please see Church porch/parish website for further details.
TINS FOR THE HOMELESS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
To transport the tins to Homeless Action in Barnet, North Finchley once a week. If you are able to help please call the Parish Office.

PARISH ANNIVERSARY DINNER DANCE:
There are still some tickets available at £40 each but hurry!
CONFIRMATION:
This year’s Programme begins on Wednesday 23rd January at 7pm in the Parish Hall.
THE SEASON OF LENT:
Begins on Wednesday 6th February. Volunteers are sought to lead Friday evening Stations of the Cross and to host a House Mass on the Fridays of Lent. Please see one the Priests or call the office.

THE JANUARY SALE will take place on 19th/20th Jan. after all Masses except 6.30 pm Sunday and has it’s usual fantastic bargains, but we are also asking for donations of unwanted books, DVD’s, CDs, toiletries, toys or any saleable item and raffle prizes. We would also welcome cakes nearer the day. (Please no second hand clothes or tapes). Items can be brought to the Office DURING OPENING HOURS, other queries, please call Janet on 01707 664843. All proceeds to the Parish Roof Fund.
PARISH CRB FORMS:
Nicky will be here again on Sunday 20th January between 11.30 - 12.30 pm to collect forms and check ID. For extra forms or to make other arrangements for collection please call Nicky on 02088822085. Please make sure you bring all your paperwork with you.

SOLEMNITY OF MARY MOTHER OF GOD:
This takes place on New year’s Day and will be celebrated with a Mass at 12 noon. There will be a reception afterwards in the parish Hall to which everyone is welcome.
CRIB OFFERINGS:
There will be a collection over the Christmas period beside the crib for the Catholic Children’s Society, which supports needy children in our Diocese.

OUR PARISH CHRISTMAS DRAW raised £1,980 towards our Restoration Funds. Thank you to all who bought tickets and sponsored or donated prizes. A list of prize winners is in the Church Porch and prizes can be collected from the Parish Office at opening times. Thanks again for your generous support.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRAYER:
During Advent there will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 1.30pm – 5.30pm on Sundays concluding with Benediction. However, this can only take place if there is someone present in the Church to stay with the exposed Eucharist. Please sign your name against the time you can be there on the list in the Porch.
HOUSE MASS:
Fr Damian would like to celebrate a house Mass in different parts of the Parish on the Fridays of Advent. If you would like to host a Mass for Parishioners in your area please see Fr Damian.
OUR LADY OF LOURDES SCHOOL APPLICATION FORM FOR 2008:
Fr Tom and Fr Damian will sign the applications for OLOL school on the 10th and 11th December from 5.30pm7.30pm. Please sign up for an appointment in the Parish Hall lobby. You are also asked to hand your self-assessment form to the Presbytery by 3rd December. -
